To do this, simple but essential actions are required:
- Protect biodiversity: The diversity of living species is a fundamental pillar of our environment. Each species, even the smallest, plays a unique role in its ecosystem. Whether on hiking trails, during your swims in the lacs and rivers or during your outdoor activities, be attentive and respectful of the nature around you. The Verdon is also home to endemic species which it has become crucial to preserve. The Verdon regional natural park informs you about the essential actions to adopt to preserve them.
- Reduce waste and recycle: Waste management is a major environmental issue. The commune of Castellane and the community of communes Alpes Provence Verdon are fully committed to this challenge to raise your awareness and enable you to adopt the right reflexes (waste sorting, composting, etc.).
